Happy & Lucky in Delaware

Just Adopted! Meet Happy and Lucky, a sweet pair of litter mates who just went home with the loving couple in the picture below...

Happy and Lucky are two year old boys who have never been separated and so we will only place these boys together.

Happy is the biggest of the pair and while he is a big boned boy, he does need to lose 5 or 6 pounds and is on a diet while in his foster home. His new family will need to be diligent in helping him continue to lose weight.  He is a sweet loveable boy who freely gives kisses, hugs, and cuddles.

Lucky weighs in at a modest 18 pounds and could stand to gain a pound or two. Lucky is also very affectionate and loving and is the most active of the pair.

They will both race around the house playing chase with the other dogs in their foster home. This active pair of boys will do well with an active family that will include them in the family activities. They are accustomed to a visibly fenced in yard and a stay at home responsible adult and so preference will be given to applicants that meet these criteria.

Both boys are very well behaved and get along with other dogs, friendly cats and everyone they meet. They will sleep together in a crate at night but really do not need to be crated. They are reliably housetrained and non-destructive. They both love to chew on a safe bone such as a Nyla bone and play with toys. They will snooze on the couch if you are busy. They know the basic commands of sit, stay and come and are pretty good on a leashed walk however they do get excited and tend to pull a bit. They also ride well in a crate in the car.

Both boys are neutered, up to date on their shots, heartworm clear and heart clear.
