Jeffrey is a 4-year old Cavalier and a puppy at heart.

He is a little larger than most Cavaliers (weighing 24lbs), but is well proportioned and handsome as all get out.

Jeffrey loves to cuddle on the couch while you are watching TV and give you sweet Cavalier kisses. He loves squeaker toys and to play fetch. He will be your constant companion. He just wants to please you. If you can’t find him, he is on the couch cuddled in the pillows. He enjoys playing with his other Cavalier foster brothers. Jeffrey would be great with other dogs in the household or as the only one.

Walks are a must! With his new harness he is a breeze to walk! He loves to bark at just about everything but with gentle correction ceases the excitement. Jeffrey is house trained and well mannered.

Jeffrey does have a health issue, but do not let this scare you away. He has slipped discs that might bother him a once or twice a year. When his back has a flare up, it is treated with medication, which is under $20. It is best to keep him on the lean side at 22lbs (currently we are working to help him lose a little weight) and do lots of gentle exercising, such as walking or swimming.

His back does not hinder him in any way. Jeffrey can still be active and run and play just like any other Cavalier. He has a clear heart and his knees are strong.

Jeffrey will do best around older, dog experienced, children 11 years and up. Dogs similar to his size will make the best companions. He is UTD on vaccines and is on heartworm and flea medication. He can be a little possessive of chew toys, but with a gentle correction he does what you say. He is truly such a good and responsive, loving boy.

Jeffrey is a perfect foster and will make a wonderful companion and friend. He gives you everything you could want in a dog. Come out and meet Jeffrey and you will fall in love. Jeffrey can make friends with anyone!
