Meet Lady and Tramp...a perfect blend of nice girl and playful boy!

Lady and Tramp are two of the nicest, sweetest dogs you will ever meet. They are littermates who are approximately five years old and were given to rescue when their family fell on hard times.

These are very gentle dogs, never jumping up on anyone. They will sit still while politely taking a treat from your fingers. They get along extremely well with the other dogs in their foster home and have the most laid back personalities you will ever see in dogs.

Tramp is the more independent of the two. He loves his balls and toys, and quite often you will see him just sitting and relaxing with a ball in his mouth. He enjoys being outside playing with the other dogs. He gets really excited when you throw the ball close enough for him to get it. He wiggles and jiggles all over with happiness.

Lady, on the other hand, is a little more dependent on her brother and on her special person. She really enjoys being on laps, curls up and falls asleep. She loves having her back and neck scratched! Lady does look around and keeps track of where Tramp is. When she is outside with the other dogs, Lady is content to sit on the deck and watch. She doesn’t feel the need to get involved in ball playing.

Boths are so gentle and sweet, with the typical loving Cavalier personality.

Tramp and Lady are both up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, and housetrained.

While both are about the normal height of a Cavalier, their weight is another issue! Lady has lost about four pounds in foster care and could lose another 1-2 (she's now 22 lbs and would be best at around 20). Unfortunately, Tramp is very overweight and has about 15-18 pounds to lose (he weighs 42 and should be about 25). Tramp also has a harmless growth on the bottom of one eye and dry eyes for which he needs inexpensive drops put in a few times a day to keep them clear and bright.

Tramp and Lady need a family with a close to home adult. A fenced in backyard would be wonderful for them since they both enjoy being outdoors and Tramp needs all the activity he can get for his weight loss! If you are concerned about keeping active during the cold, winter months, Tramp is the dog for you because it is a necessity that he gets out and exercises. After you finish your walk together, Lady will be happy to sit in your lap to warm it.
