Hi, my name is Tessie...

I’m a 4-year old Blenheim female, sweet, but shy and reserved. It takes me awhile to get use to new people, so I need a home with a patient owner.

I’ve come far with my foster family. I warm up to men faster than women, and can find women a little scary. When there are a lot of people around, I like a spot out of the way where I can watch what is going on.

I enjoy taking stuffed toys in my bed and treating them like my babies. I enjoy breakfast and dinner with a late morning and bedtime treat.

I get along with other dogs and toddlers. I haven’t met a cat, so I’m not sure if I like them. I do enjoy roaming around the yard with other dogs and will come in when called.

Thunder storms scare me, so be ready to share your bed. During the day I enjoy the chair or a doggie bed. I am not a big walker, but I'm slowly beginning to like them once I'm out and moving.

I'm in good shape and healthy, but my eyes need to be cleaned and have drops put in daily.

I am looking for a calm home with lots of love and patience as I continue to get to know and trust people.

I'm being fostered in Bartlett, TN, which is the Southwestern part of the state.
