With your generous support, Blake recently underwent the dental surgery he so badly needed to remove 16 loose and decayed teeth. He also had those beautiful - but badly infected - ears cleaned and flushed.

Together with your help and with the exceptional care and generous support of Dr. Switzer and the medical professionals at San Martin VCA Veterinary Hospital, Blake is feeling oh so much better.

This sweet boy was turned into rescue because his mom, who loved him much, had a new baby, another young child, and some tough circumstances, so could no longer provide the care Blake needed.

Now that his medical needs have been addressed, Blake is ready to find his new forever family.

Blake's needs are pretty simple: a loving home with people who have a lap to share and who enjoy regular daily walks.

While house-trained, Blake prefers to do "his business" while taking his morning and evening constitutional. Send him into the back yard with the other cavaliers in his foster home and he will just sit in the lawn chair and watch the other dogs take care of business.

He sleeps in a crate at night and his foster mom says: "when I say bed time he runs right to it and waits for his hug and kiss goodnight."

Blake gets along well with the other Cavaliers, but he prefers to go his own way when it comes to potty breaks. If twice a day dog walks are not part of your daily routine, Blake is probably not the right dog for you. However, if you enjoy taking walks and are looking for a loving, friendly classic Cavalier boy, he just might be the one for you.

This beautiful boy is good with people and dogs but would prefer a cat-free home.

Blake is now current on his vaccinations and is in good health with no indication of a heart murmur. He should have many good years left as someones special, gentle companion. Blake would prefer a home where someone is generally home during the day.
