Dash in Kinston, NC

Dash is a very sweet boy-

He came into rescue with some emotional issues such as separation anxiety, kennel anxiety, and difficulty sharing his food and toys. He has worked through everything but the food aggression, which is just with other dogs, not a problem with people.

Dash loves to snuggle and take long walks. He is very active and playful. He is about 3-years old. He is a healthy and heart clear boy.

His previous owners for some reason thought he would be suited without a tail as it is docked, but I think it just gives him character. He still manages to wag his nubbin tons of times within a day.

Dash is playful with some dogs and ignores others so he could go to a family without other pets or with another dog, depending on the match. We'd be unlikely to place Dash in a home with kids under 12 because we have no real background on him (came from a shelter).

He will do best in a home with a member of the family being home most of the day because he does get lonely and really is a playful, social little guy. He sleeps in a kennel at night. He loves all people short tall young or old just as long as you have a ball to throw or a lap to snuggle on. He minds well, but you have to be firm with him as if you give him an inch he will take a mile.
