Bentley in Columbia, MD

Just Adopted!

Bentley is a 7 year old, very handsome, loving and healthy Blenheim Cavalier. He had just one owner since he was a puppy. Sadly, due to a change in his owner’s living situation, he was brought into Rescue to find a new home.

Bentley arrived at his foster home shy and frightened. He has since blossomed into a loving, affectionate boy who just wants to find a forever home with someone who loves having a sweet lap dog to spend time with. Since being in foster care, Bentley has received a dental cleaning, as well as knee surgery, to repair a luxating patella. He tolerated both procedures very well and has made a complete recovery. His physical exam showed no heart murmur or other medical issues.

Bentley has shown some anxiety while in foster care. In the beginning, he was a bit frightened of going on leash walks. He has improved significantly, but he will need a patient, loving, strong hand to continue to help him become confident on leash walks.

Continuing his training program and regular exercise, including at least a 30 minute walk each day, are important for Bentley.
