Just Adopted!
Taylor is an exceptionally sweet little lady who loves to cuddle on the sofa and go for car rides. She weighs 19 pounds and is a pleasure to have in my home. Taylor is 9 years old and in very good health. A heart murmur has been detected, but does not require medication.

Taylor was released to Rescue from the home of a breeder who passed away. Taylor has been happy and healthy in foster care. She climbs my stairs every day, jumps onto my sofa, and loves walks around the neighborhood.

She is partially blind due to previously untreated dry eye, but that does not slow her down. After she learned her way around my house, she has navigated it as well as any dog.

She loves my new 9 month old Cavalier very much and she loves my 10 and 20 year old daughters too. She happily sleeps in a crate and snores (a very soothing sound), but she would be very happy sleeping in a bed as well. She is house trained. I let her out at 3-4 times per day and keep her in a crate when I am not home. (which is 1-2 hours at a time).

She has had all but 2 of her teeth removed, but she still eats and drinks and gobbles up treats like a champ. You should see her when she gets to come in the car with me....she gets so excited, she doesn't know what to do with herself....spinning in circles and prancing.

She does need artificial tears 4 times per day, as well as some eye medication drops twice per day. She's great about accepting those drops....and she needs to see the eye doctor once per year.

She is such a loving dog and always wants to be near her people or her dog friends. She sleeps under my office chair, next to me on the sofa, in her bed in the kitchen....wherever I am. Often she naps on top of or snuggled up with my other Cavalier.

Taylor would love a home with other dogs, and humans who adore her. Gentle children would be much loved.
