Amaya in Dallax, TX

Meet Amaya! Amaya is an adorable and joyful girl looking for her forever home. We believe she is a Cavalier/Dachshund mix and is around 1 year old. She is a small girl at just 10.8 lbs. Her legs are shorter and body a bit longer than your typical Cavalier. Amaya has been an absolute delight for her foster family, always smiling and doing zoomies around the living room. She loves to cuddle, be chased, and play with her foster family and fur siblings.

Amaya enjoys breakfast and dinner time, and she loves a few blueberries throughout the day. She is content to rest in her bed, curled up with her foster siblings, or in your lap the second you sit down. 

Recently spayed, Amaya is up to date on all her vaccinations and is microchipped. She is still working on potty training and will need continued frequent outings. She sleeps in her crate all night but would love to sleep in your bed if you allow it.

Amaya is an inquisitive young puppy who needs a securely fenced yard and someone who is home most of the time. Being small and a bit sneaky, she will try to fit through cracks in doors and fences. She loves to run around but also enjoys nap time. Amaya would be best suited for a family with another dog for her to cuddle and play with.

Amaya is very social and loves meeting new people and dogs. While it might take her a second to warm up to other dogs, she quickly becomes best friends with them. Her friendly and loving nature makes her a joy to be around.
