Ashley in Little Rock, AR

Here she is with her new family…

Meet Ashley, a sweet 4-year-old Blenheim who has overcome a rough start in life. Rescued by a good samaritan from a breeder situation, Ashley is now on a journey to learn to trust humans again. She is a gentle soul who loves interacting with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats, but her favorite pastime is running and playing with her canine friends.

When Ashley first arrived at her foster mom’s home, she was extremely nervous and timid. However, she’s getting more comfortable each day. Although she is still easily startled and nervous about being picked up, she calms quickly once she’s with you and settles in for snuggles.

During her initial vet appointment, it was discovered that Ashley has an old hip fracture that has since healed, likely the result of prior abuse. This injury contributes to her nervousness around humans. Despite her past, Ashley still yearns to love and connect with people. With time and patience, she is sure to be a wonderful addition to a calm and understanding home.
