Aspen in Sausalito, CA

Nope that’s not a Colorado-named neighborhood within Sausalito; it’s a ten-month-old, female, tricolor Cavalier born 11/15/2023. Aspen weighs in at 16 pounds. She was given to Cavalier Rescue USA due to a family transition when the family could no longer take care of a dog.

She has been health cleared from a Rescue- approved Vet for her vaccines, heart health and dental needs. She was recently spayed as well. She is allergic to chicken, so needs a chicken free diet.

Aspen has a few words to share about her experience coming into the Rescue:

Hi, my name is Aspen! I am a tricolor girl who is curious, playful and very snuggly. My foster mom said that my anthem song is “Girls just wanna have fun,” because I am so playful and happy. I would really love having another dog at my energy level to be my playmate. My foster Cavalier sister is older so she’s not really interested in playing with me but she’s very patient with my puppy energy and is teaching me my manners. I love it when my foster mom throws toys for me to play catch and tug-of-war.  

The best forever home for me is with someone who is home the majority of the time, another dog at my energy level, an active family who will take me on long walks and possibly older children in the family who will give me lots of love and attention. I haven’t been cat tested, so that probably isn’t a good idea. I am crate and potty trained.
