Bingo in Newark, OH

Bingo is a high energy, adorable 2-year-old Blenheim Cavalier born 10/10/2021 who is extremely friendly and desires to please. His owners gave him to rescue because they didn’t have enough time for him. He has some separation anxiety, so an owner who is at home most of time would be best.

Bingo loves to cuddle, sit with his family, and loves his doggie friends. At times he has difficulty being calm and quieting down. He gets along famously with children and other dogs but is untested with cats. He requires a securely fenced yard and experienced caregiver to teach him his manners. It would probably be best to have him with another dog his size, so that he would have someone to play with and burn up his energy each day.

Bingo tolerates the crate at night and also when alone at home, but otherwise voices disapproval at being crated, and is working on that. He is learning to ride in a car. but not good with riding in the crate in the car or being seat-belted in the car. That is going to take a lot of practice.

Bingo also has a habit of trying to run out the door when the door opens, so he always should have a collar on when people are going in and out the door. We are working on breaking this habit and are making some progress! Bingo is working on walking on a leash calmly without pulling, and that is a work in progress.
