Charlie in Dallas, TX
Update 1-4-25: We’ve received several promising applications for this pup so aren’t taking more for now. Thank you!
Meet Charlie, a precious four-year-old Blenheim boy (born on October 31, 2020) that came to us after an unsettled past of moving amongst different owners. Despite his unstable beginnings, Charlie’s endearing, sweet personality was present immediately. He is a loving, well-adjusted house dog.
Charlie loves exploring a fenced yard and going on walks, but his favorite activity is snuggling! Whether you’re on the couch or sitting anywhere, Charlie will happily climb into your lap and stay there for as long as you’re willing to let him. If you are looking for the ultimate snuggle companion, Charlie is your dog!
Charlie is in good health. He’s up to date on all his vaccinations, and recently underwent dental cleaning and his neuter surgery. Charlie is also very reliable with potty training. He does very well, as long as he is let outside regularly.
Charlie does have a bit of an escape artist streak, so a secure fence is a must for his safety. Front doors and other exits should be carefully monitored to ensure he doesn’t slip out unnoticed.
Charlie would thrive in a home where he can enjoy a forever family to love. The ideal home for Charlie would offer a securely fenced yard where he can explore. Charlie would fit best with a family where someone is home most of the time, as he prefers to have someone near him as much as possible.
He loves his people most, so he would be fine as an only dog, but he seems to enjoy the company of his non-dominant foster dog sister if no people are available! He has done wonderfully with people of all ages, children and adults.
Charlie is a sweet and loving boy eager to bring joy and affection to your home. If you feel you can provide Charlie with everlasting love, a warm lap to lay in, a secure fenced yard, low alone time and perhaps a friendly canine sibling, email Shelby at shelbynfields@gmail.com to express your interest.
