Chip in Orangevale, CA

JUST ADOPTED!

Here is Chip with his new family…

Meet adorable, one year old, Chip! This loving pup was born 05/15/2024 and was  part of a recent breeder release to Cavalier Rescue USA.

Chip is everything you want in a classic Blenheim Cavalier: he’s sweet, snuggly and playful. He is heart and overall healthy, was recently neutered and is up to date on all of his shots. His house training is still a work in progress and  you will have to take him out every few hours until you learn each other’s habits. He’s a very smart boy that wants to please.

Chip weighs 13 pounds and is full of adventure, energy and Cavalier curiosity. He loves to run around in the backyard, but make sure it’s secure because he can find the smallest escape route.

He sleeps quietly in a crate next to foster mom’s bed but would love to snuggle with his family on the big bed. He plays well with his foster sibling dogs and really wants to be part of the pack. He has a good appetite and loves treats. He’s a bit shy with new people but warms up quickly.

Chip is a darling boy that’s looking for an active forever family that will continue his training and take him for lots of walks. We think he would be a great family dog with older respectful children. He has not been cat tested. Chip needs a canine companion in his new home and will be a great second dog so he can continue learning his doggie skills. He needs a securely fenced back yard. You will need to live within a couple of hours drive to his foster home to be considered for Chip.

If Chip is your dreamboat and you can fill his wish list in a forever home please complete our online application if you haven’t already, so we can get to know you better and then email your interest to our Northern California Coordinator, Sarah Knudsen at sayrahk@gmail.com.
