Cooper in Nashville, TN

Update 3-8-25: We’ve received several promising applications for this pup so aren’t taking more for now. Thank you!

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s Super Cooper! Meet Cooper, an adorable tricolor Cavalier who was born 12/14/24. He may only weigh 4.7 pounds, but his personality is larger than life. Cooper is proving that the best things really do come in small packages. With his sweet nature and playful spirit, Cooper charms everyone he meets — from small children to other dogs, making him a perfect match for families of all shapes and sizes.

Cooper is a bundle of puppy energy and always on the move! He loves playing with his foster sister and can turn anything into a game. Whether it’s chasing a toy, zooming around the yard, or following his people from room to room, this little guy is always ready for action. He’s a true shadow dog, happiest when he’s right under your feet, never too far from his favorite humans.

Cooper came into rescue with a minor eye infection that’s all cleared up, and he’s been treated with antibiotics for a bit of fluid in his lungs. He’s doing fantastic now! He’s been microchipped, is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and will need his new family to continue his vaccination schedule to keep him happy and healthy.

This little dynamo would thrive in an active home with someone who’s ready to embrace his playful energy and help him get all those zoomies out during the day. He’s great with kids and other dogs, so the more love (and playmates!), the merrier. Cooper also loves car rides and will be the happiest co-pilot, tagging along wherever you go.

For such a young pup, Cooper is already proving to be a smart cookie! He’s doing wonderfully with his potty training, picking it up faster than expected for his age. He’s also crate trained and settles well when his foster family steps out. He’s learning to walk on a leash and, like any puppy, still gets excited and pulls a little, but with continued training, he’ll be a pro in no time.

If you’re ready for a playful, loving, and clever companion who will keep you laughing and melt your heart daily and live within four hours drive of the Nashville area, Cooper might just be your perfect match.
