Dora in Blue Bell, PA

JUST ADOPTED!

Here is Dora with her new dad…

Meet Dora, a beautiful tricolor sweetheart born 2/25/18 that would love to join your home! Dora previously lived on a farm and was used for breeding with very little social interaction. She has made great strides and loves the home life with a warm bed and people companions.

Dora loves to be around her family and other dogs. She has started to snuggle with her foster family. This friendly dog weighing in at 25 pounds has tons of love to give to that special family.

Dora is doing great in her foster home. From day one in foster care, it really didn’t take her long to adjust to her new life in a warm house with four other Cavaliers. Dora can be shy with people but warms up fast with a little bit of love. She really enjoys her doggy companions but is independent so could be an only dog with a lot of human attention. Dora really enjoys being with people and following her foster mother around. Dora tends to eat very fast and should be monitored while she eats as she has will help herself to others food.

Dora is in good health, but she did have crystals in her urine (no stones) so this should be monitored. Her coat is filling in and is very pretty. In foster care, she was spayed, and has had a dental cleaning. She is up to date on her vaccines. While in foster care, she has been learned to go potty outside, but this will have to be reinforced in your own home.

The following qualities would make a great home for Dora. Tons of attention from a very special family.  A calm household is preferred as Dora is scared by loud noises and fast-moving things. A home with a secure fenced in yard is also very much preferred. In general, she is great with all kinds of people, but she should be fine in a home with older, gentler children.

Thank you for taking the time to consider Dora! She has been an absolute joy to her foster family and will make a lucky family very happy!
