Dora in Indianapolis, IN
Here is Dora with her new family…

Dora, named after Dora the Explorer should be short for aDORAble! She just turned four mid-December and has a face that will melt your heart. Dora was to over to Cavalier Rescue USA due to a family issue and not due to any fault of her own. She was obviously well taken care of and loved.

She is an absolute joy to have around. From the minute she walked into her foster home, she made herself at home and became quick friends with her foster siblings. There was no adjustment period!

I can’t say enough about this wonderful dog! She’s always happy, loves meeting anyone new (people or other dogs) but will pull on her leash to try to meet everyone…a harness with a front clip is a must. If there is no one around to greet, she walks well on her leash. A fenced in yard would be a plus because this girl would love to play and run around.
She hasn’t had any accidents in the house and understands “do you want to go out” and knows other basic commands.

She has been to the vet for a complete check up and passed all of her tests with flying colors except for a minor ear infection that is currently being treated. In addition, Dora is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all necessary vaccines. Although she weighed in at 25 pounds, she is not overweight but a pretty big girl.
Her loves include her favorite toy, a hard bone to chew on and snuggling with her foster mom and siblings. She would do best with a family who has the time to spend giving her lots of love and, of course, belly rubs. Also, she will be happiest with another friendly dog in the home to play with.
