Faith in Northern AL
Here is Faith with her new family…
Sweet Faith came to Cavalier Rescue USA through an Alabama breeder that closed. Initially fearful and distrusting, she suffered malnutrition, parasites, and ear infections. She was intimidated by everything, would only eat chow from the floor, and distrusted humans.
After two months with her foster family, she is now playful, happy and healthy! Faith is a people lover although still shy. She gets along wonderfully with her three foster siblings (which includes a 130 pound Russian Terrier!) She is still learning to walk on leash. She enjoys being near her humans and will sometimes cry if left alone too long. Faith is improving with her potty training and rarely has accidents if taken out on a regular basis. She sleeps in her kennel at night without complaint but is ready to begin her day with potty time. She enjoys car rides and generally settles into her car seat for a nap.
Faith is now free of parasites, has healthy ears, has been spayed, had dental care with two teeth removed and has been given a clean bill of health by her veterinarian. At some point in her life she suffered a broken front leg which was not treated and healed improperly. Because of this Faith walks with an outturned elbow and a slight hitch to her step, but it does not stop her from running through the yard! Her age has been placed between 3-4 years old. She currently is on a dry chow diet and loves her snacks. At 14 pounds, she is a little girl who should be maintained at this weight.
Faith has turned into a sweet, loving and precious pup who will make her furever family a wonderful companion. Because she is such a couch potato, she would benefit from a home where someone is home most of the time and loves a lap dog! Faith is a gentle girl who will warm your lap and be your loving shadow.
