Here is the pup with his new family…

Meet Finley, a gorgeous and heart healthy 9-year-old Blenheim Cavalier. Finley was recently released from his devoted owner due to the owner’s medical challenges. Though is was an extremely difficult decision, she is hopeful that a new family will welcome him with love. He surely has more love to share!

Finley is such a “good boy” as his previous owner describes, with a nice balance of energy and calm. He loves getting outside in a fenced in yard or by leash and is ready to jump in the car for outings! He equally loves his couch time and has a funny habit of getting cozy on the back of the couch.  

Finley is fully house trained. The foster family lets him out frequently so he may need a little work on alerting his new family to his needs. He loves daytime naps in his pen, and has worked on overnight adjustments as he loves being with his person if allowed. His previous owner said he will always choose the bed if given the opportunity. 

Finley is neutered and up-to-date on core vaccines and preventatives. His teeth are healthy and sparkling clean from his recent dental!

Finley was the only dog at his previous home but has been a sweet boy with his four Cavalier friends at his foster home.  He and the only other male dog in the home have become especially close and are found near each other frequently.  Someone who is home much of the time would be wonderful for Finley. The previous owner mentioned that he is good with cats.
