Here is Finnegan with his new family…

Are you ready for your new best friend? Meet Finnegan, a happy, playful, Cavapoo with joyful brown eyes and a mischievous spirit! Finnegan is looking for his forever family to provide him with puppy training, warm snuggles and endless love. Finnegan was born on 9-17-25, and shortly after, was released to the rescue through no fault of his own.

Finnegan loves to play with his toys, fetch and snuggle! Need help in your home office? Finnegan will gladly shred papers. Need help in the bathroom? Finnegan will unravel an entire roll of toilet paper just for you! He has mastered ringing a bell to go outside, sit, and being released to eat a meal. Finnegan is working on leash training and recall. He is treat-motivated and wants to learn. Since Finnegan is still learning, his new family should be committed to continuing his training.

Finnegan has started crate training and is doing well through the night with no accidents. He would prefer to be closer to his family. A crate in the bedroom helps him fall right to sleep. Finnegan loves snuggling and being with his family. Someone who is home most of the day is a must. Finnegan does well riding in the car and enjoys running errands with his foster mom.

Finnegan is currently living with two small dogs, two cats and two human sisters, ages 6 and 10. Finnegan loves everyone and will greet you with a large hug! He is working on his manners to not jump. He has done well in his foster home by watching and learning from his foster dog siblings. Finnegan will do best in a home with a playful, young dog that can help him learn the routine and schedule of his new home. Finnegan loves children, visitors and cats! He has shown curiosity towards the family cats and may chase. A dog-savvy cat would be okay. He loves being outside, so a securely fenced yard is needed.

Finnegan is up-to-date on immunizations and heart-worm/flea and tick prevention. Finnegan’s new owner will need to have him neutered at nine months of age (June, 2026) and provide written verification from his vet to the rescue. Finnegan is heart clear, knees and hips are good, microchipped and ready for a loving home!
