Here is Harry with his new family…

Meet Harry, a lovable, affectionate boy whose greatest joy in life is being close to his people. Whether he’s snuggled up beside you or stretched out across your lap, Harry is happiest when he’s sharing quiet, cozy time on the couch. This 2-year-old Ruby Cavalier (born 1/29/2024) has a gentle, devoted nature and a heart that overflows with love.

Harry came into rescue as an owner surrender when his previous family was no longer able to give him the time and attention he deserves.  Despite that, he remains a cheerful, trusting companion who bonds deeply with his people. He truly delights in giving and receiving affection and quickly becomes a loyal, constant presence in the home. Harry enjoys meeting new people and is cordial with other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household.

While he’s a champion cuddler, Harry also has a playful and curious side. One of his favorite pastimes is lounging on the screen porch, where he proudly takes on the role of “mighty lizard hunter.” He can often be found gazing intently at lizards climbing along the outer screen, completely captivated by the action. It’s a daily adventure that never seems to get old and is sure to bring smiles to anyone watching him, except maybe the lizards.  

Harry would thrive in a home where his family is present most of the day as he loves being involved in everyday routines and simply enjoys companionship. He can experience some separation anxiety, but he has done very well with his foster brothers and gains comfort from having another dog nearby. For that reason, it would be especially beneficial for Harry to have a canine companion in his forever home.
