Heathcliff in Nashville, TN

JUST ADOPTED!

Here is the pup with his new family…

Hi my name is Heathcliff! I am a healthy & handsome 2-year-old male Blenheim Cavalier. I was rescued by an angel from a breeder surrender so I could experience “the good life”.

I am the best of both worlds, I love to play hard with my foster sisters, whether it be a game of tag, you’re it or playing with toys, but I’m also very much a velcro pup and love to snuggle with my humans too. There is no such thing as personal space with me, I will snuggle on your shoulder or wherever I can find a spot, even if it’s on top of my foster sisters, I am not picky, as long as I’m in the same room as you.

I am the life of the party and never meet a stranger! I love people and dogs. I am super friendly and excited to meet everyone, kids and adults alike! I would thrive in my new home with another pupmate because I am used to cuddling and playing with my foster siblings and foster dad during the day. I love to follow my foster dad around like his shadow and he always greets me with a cuddle and I need my new home to understand just how much I truly need love and attention now that I’ve had a taste of what it’s like.

I do well on a leash but love to have the freedom to explore, and run free in my fenced in backyard. I am learning new commands & new skills such as leash training, crate training, climbing stairs, potty training, and so much more! Even though I’m crate trained, I would love to sleep right next to my humans in a fluffy bed at night. Not to brag, but my foster mom likes to say not only am I a charming little fella, but I’m a smart little boy too!

Heathcliff’s foster parents say: Heathcliff would love a home that has a fenced backyard where he can run and play. He would love a playmate because he adores his foster siblings. He will be best with an owner who is home most of the day. He doesn’t like to be alone for extended periods of time. He is super eager to please and will truly make someone the absolute best little sidekick and a wonderful addition to his new furever family.

Heathcliff has grade ¼ luxating patella, but the vet said there’s no treatment needed and this does not keep this fun pup from running, playing and jumping as normal. Heathcliff is otherwise healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.

If you believe you would be a great fit for Heathcliff, please make sure you have an application submitted and email Liz Nigh at lizcavalierusa@gmail.com of your interest. Please identify the state you are located in the email.
