Holly in Gettysburg, PA

Meet Holly, a beautiful  Blenheim girl with a soft silky coat. After being released from a commercial breeder, Holly got her name when she came into rescue just before Christmas, and her foster family thought the name was perfect for her.

She was a bit shy at first, but now everyone that she sees is greeted like a long lost friend. When she sees her foster Mom in the morning, she happily wags her tail and has to have a few minutes of pets before she goes out.  

 

She came into foster care completely house trained, but goes out on a regular basis and will hold it until its time. She is also learning to “sit” when asked to! She rarely barks, but occasionally will bark if her breakfast and dinner isn’t ready when she is hungry!

 

Holly loves to go for walks and is very good on a leash. She rides well in the car, but does get carsick. She sleeps well in her crate, but would have no problem sleeping with her family at night. She always has her foster sisters in sight, so another dog would be a plus so she has companionship. Holly was very nervous about snuggling on the couch with her family and would jump off and retreat to her crate, but now she will jump up and snuggle with her family.

She has recently been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. She has a grade 2/3 heart murmur but no medications are needed at this time.
