Here is Honey with her new family…

Meet Honey, an adorable 10 month old Tricolor Cavalier born January 15, 2025. Honey is a sweet, playful puppy who came to Cavalier Rescue USA when her family realized they were unable to give her the attention she needed.

Honey is a petite girl at just 12 lbs with a BIG personality. Her favorite place in the world is snuggling on your lap and she will walk over the Cavaliers in the foster home to claim her spot! Honey has an affinity for shoes and you will often find this pint size pup carrying around one of your shoes or slippers. She loves to zoom around the fenced back yard usually carrying a prized stick.

Honey is attentive and eager to please so would do very well in obedience or agility classes. Every person she meets is her new best friend and she greets them with a full body wiggle. She has not been tested with cats so that is an unknown. Due to her tiny size she would do best with kids 10 and up.

Honey is doing well with house training when taken out on a consistent schedule. She has had a couple of accidents so will need to continue her training as she learns her new home. She happily hops into her crate at bedtime knowing a treat is coming and sleeps all night next to her foster’s bed. She’s content to stay in her crate when her foster parents have to leave for a short time. Honey loves walks and does well with car rides.

Honey received a clean bill of health at the Vet, is microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. She has been spayed.

Honey’s perfect family would be someone home most of the day. She will be a petite pup so a fenced yard able to secure her small size is a must. Another playful pup at home would be wonderful to show her the ropes and provide a companion when her people are away. Any children should be 10yrs or older.
