Introducing Indiana Bones (aka Indy)

My name is Indiana Bones, Indy for short. I am weight height appropriate at 21.8 lbs and am 5 years old (my birthday is 08/31/2020). I am a tricolor, a very handsome fellow. I love walks, riding in the car, and being with my person(s). I am curious, active, and a cuddle bug. When I am first with you, I will be a bit nervous and I might slip up and dribble. Please don’t be mad at me, I adjust quickly once I know the routine. I get along well with other dogs and all people, I haven’t had a chance to meet a cat, but am really curious about them. I like toys, but would rather play with you.

I like kibble, prefer Nutri Source Small Bites. I usually get fed twice a day, 1/3 cup of kibble and a greenie, between 7 – 7:30am and 4:30 – 5pm, if you’re late I will let you know. I like to have my teeth brushed – yes, I understand it is unusual, but, I am special. I also like to have my coat brushed. I guess I just like to be touched by my person(s). I am in excellent health and looking for my forever home. Please come get me before the movie makers take me to Hollywood!

Back story: Indy was in a loving home, was well cared for and had very responsible owners. He has all his vet records, vaccines are up to date, teeth cleaning (even though they cleaned his teeth daily). Their little daughter has been in and out of the hospital with a severe rash and hives. It was determined that she has developed an allergy to Indy. The family was heartbroken to give Indy up, but the severity of the allergy meant that they could not have the dog around their little girl.

NOTE: We get so few Cavalier rescues in Nevada, that we would like to give the people in the state a chance to adopt one of these marvelous pups. However, if we do not find an excellent match in state match for Indy, we will consider applicants from other states. Thank you.
