Piper in Chattanooga, TN

Just Adopted!

Here is Piper with her loving new family...

Meet Piper! Piper is a sweet, affectionate, playful, pint-sized bundle of happiness! This adorable girl is 7-months-old as of November 2017. She weighs just 12 pounds and probably won't get but a little bigger as an adult. Piper loves everything and everyone! She has never met a stranger and adores other dogs. In her foster home she wrestles and plays with her foster puppy brother for hours!! She loves the older dog in the house too but is respectful of her space and lower energy level. She has met a few young children in the neighborhood and now gets excited when she hears little voices and wants to play! We don't know what she thinks about cats and other pets.

As much as Piper loves to run and play, she is aware of where her people are and wants to stay close. Piper would do well with a fenced yard to run and play in or at least a good walk of a mile or two a day. She walks well on a leash and is very happy to see the leash coming off of its hook for her! Piper rides well in the car and is up for any adventure that she can be included in. She settles down nicely and enjoys plenty of cuddle and lap time too. Piper is crate-trained and is doing very well with house-training. She only has an occasional accident when she is off of her normal routine but that is improving all the time. Piper comes when she is called and will sit nicely for a treat! Pipers dream family would provide opportunities for her to run and play (she loves toys), and provide structure for her to learn what is expected of her. Piper would love cuddling and hanging out on your lap as she loves to be affectionate.

Piper is very healthy, spayed and up to date on her shots. We think that little Piper is just about the perfect dog!
