Khloe in Manassas, VA

Khloe is a 9-year-old, lovely Cavalier! She is as sweet as they come. Khloe’s personality is that of a happy couch potato. Happy to follow you around all day quietly. Or take a snooze while you watch TV. Though you’ll need to watch as underfoot is her favorite place to be.

Khloe definitely prefers females over males. But is just as happy to receive snacks from a man too. Chin scratches are her love language.

Khloe cannot climb stairs up or down. She will wait for her family to escort her up or down as needed. Though she has learned to get on a couch. After all, that’s where the best naps are had.

While in rescue Khloe had a dental, and cataract surgery to try restoring her right eyesight. Unfortunately, she ended up needing the eye ultimately removed due to a complication with her eye pressure. It was very sad for our team; however, Khloe does not seem to mind and is just as happy as ever. The eye area is healing and some follow up may be needed. She has a mild heart murmur in the B1 stage and will require a cardiologist recheck appointment soon. Khloe has made tons of friends at her vet appointments, saying hello to everyone in the lobby. At each visit Khloe receives a resounding “Bye Khloe!” from everyone on the way out.

Khloe gets along well with all animals and people. Though we think a quieter home would be what she prefers. She is kennel trained. She does have a smaller bladder. So more frequent bathroom breaks are helpful (5+ each day). She is fully house-trained as long as you are accommodating. Khloe is also quite a vacuum when it comes to food as many Cavaliers seem to be. So a dog who has any level of resource guarding may not appreciate Khloe as a sister.
