Latte in Bagdad, KY
Latte is a 3-year-old tri-color Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with an incredible journey. She was born blind, but once she entered rescue, everything changed. Latte received cataract surgery that gave her the gift of sight—and with it came a whole new dog.

Now able to see the world around her, Latte is curious, playful, and eager to explore. She has a sweet Cavalier nature paired with a touch of stubbornness that makes her both charming and entertaining. Watching her confidence grow as she discovers new sights has been truly special.

Latte will need ongoing eye care for the rest of her life, including eye drops (approximately $20 per month) and visits to a veterinary ophthalmologist every six months. She does well with her routine and will thrive with an adopter who is committed to maintaining her medical care.

Her ideal home is a calm, stable one. Latte should not live with cats, and she needs a family where someone is home most of the day to provide companionship and consistency. Latte would benefit from one-on-one training as she is still very puppy-like with her new lease on life. Her house training is in progress; she was house broken before her surgery, but now she is having accidents.

Latte is ready for her forever home—a place where she’ll be loved, supported, and celebrated for the resilient, joyful girl she is. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a remarkable story, Latte may be the one for you.
