Leo in Suffolk, VA
Update 11-11-23: We’ve received several promising applications for this pup so aren’t taking more for now. Thank you!
Leo is a sweet guy who found himself in our care due to no fault of his own when his owner passed. There is no doubt that he was very loved and well cared for.
Leo is larger in stature but at a healthy weight of 25 pounds. Although this 11 year old gentleman is not a pup anymore, he is quite spry, enjoys his time outside and going on walks, and navigates stairs well. He has a beautiful thick coat that requires trimming and regular brushing.
Leo is sweet, on the shy side and well behaved. He gets along nicely with his foster Brother and Sisters. In his new family, it is important for Leo to have small friendly sibling dog(s) for companionship.
Leo is happy sleeping in a bed at night. He is able to be left without supervision during the day. Leo and his foster siblings keep themselves company. When foster mom goes out, he does not cause any trouble!
Leo will surely be a wonderful addition to one lucky family.
If you are interested in Leo, please complete our online application if you haven’t already and then email the local Virginia Rescue Coordinator Michelle Ouellette at firstname.lastname@example.org so she knows of your interest.
