Levi in Whittier, CA

JUST ADOPTED!

Here is Levi with his new family…

Meet Levi! Just like the best feeling when you slip on your favorite pair of his namesake jeans, Levi is the pup who reminds you of all that’s right in the world. This happy 3-year-old Blenheim boy, born 3/20/22, came into rescue when his previous owners realized he needed more daily attention than they could provide.

From the very first day in his foster home, which he shares with a Cavalier sibling, Levi was relaxed and comfortable. He’s the perfect mix of active and chill. Go for a walk? Absolutely. Play with toys? He’s in and absolutely LOVES toys. Relax on the couch? He’ll be right by your side.

Levi earns gold stars for his perfect potty habits, politely pacing by the door when he needs to go out. Not only is he handsome with deep, soulful eyes, he’s also well-mannered, affectionate, and already knows basic commands. Levi truly embodies all the best traits of the Cavalier breed; sweet, adaptable, and eager to please.

One thing Levi disapproves of is being alone for more than a short time. He does find comfort having another canine friend but would also be fine as an only pet receiving all your affection. Since he is of smaller stature, Levi is wonderfully portable and an unassuming gentleman when out and about. He rides nicely in the car and would make an ideal work-from-home buddy or even a take-to-the-office pal.

While in rescue, Levi was neutered, brought up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and treated for a mild ear and skin infection; now fully resolved and cleared by the vet. He’s been raised around gentle children and, as long as they’re respectful, he’s comfortable with their attention.

Levi would likely shine in an obedience or enrichment class, which would be a fun way to strengthen his bond with his family and reinforce all his good habits as he learns routines in his new environment. He gets very excited when he sees his leash and when exploring in the yard will join in the chorus along with the neighborhood dogs. Levi has shown some mild anxiety when hearing loud noises such as fireworks and will bark, so a quiet home with continued reassurances will help him with this sensitivity.

If you’re looking for that ideal companion who brings comfort, loyalty, and joy to every day, Levi just might be the perfect fit.
