Here is Matcha with her new family…

Matcha is a gorgeous 5-year-old Ruby girl born on 12/4/2018. She came to us from a commercial breeding operation. Matcha was not treated kindly by humans in her former life. She is sweet and joyful, but lacks trust in people. She is looking for that very special person to win back that trust. 

Matcha loves being near her foster family and adores the dogs. She is just fearful of touch. 

She has already made great strides, taking treats from her foster mom’s hand, and licking fingers. With patience and time, you will be rewarded with boundless love from this girl. Matcha is extremely smart. She has learned the family routine quickly and can use a doggy door. 

She loves exploring the yard and is well on her way to being completely housetrained, if let out frequently. A fenced yard is a must as she is still trying to master the leash. She sleeps very well in a crate at night.  

This beautiful girl is very healthy having recently been spayed and a dental. She is also microchipped, current on vaccines, and heartworm prevention.

We think the best home for her will be one without young children as sudden movement from humans is scary to her. She would also do well with another calm small dog to help teach her the ropes and that trusting people is a good thing.
