Matthew in York, PA
Say Hello to Matthew, the happiest boy you’ll ever meet! Matthew is a 9 year old blenheim boy who was well loved by his breeder and came into rescue after her passing. He is now looking for a family with which to spend his golden years.

Don’t let Matthew’s age fool you – he is the definition of a puppy at heart! He enjoys playing with toys, investigating his fenced yard, and even going for short walks on the leash. The rest of the time he is content to be snuggled up with his people on the couch. He will politely “ask” to be picked up by popping his front feet up next to you and wagging his tail.

Matthew is a true “velcro Cavalier” who really loves all people. He is happiest when he is getting all the pets and attention, so a family with someone home most of the time would be ideal. When he does need to be left alone he can become anxious, but being in a crate calms him down and makes him feel safe. Having another calm, submissive canine companion would be helpful as well.

Matthew is in good health for his age. He is a good weight at 17 lbs. He has a healthy heart, is up to date on all vaccines, and recently had neuter and dental procedures done. He does have dry eye disease in his left eye which requires a medicated drop, twice daily, for life. Luckily Matthew is used to the drops and is a very good boy while having them administered.

Matthew is truly quite the catch. His foster family guarantees that he gives back the love he receives tenfold. This sweet gentleman is ready to find the family of his dreams. Could it be you?
