Here is Max with his new mom…

Max is an adorable six-year-old black-and-tan boy born 12/17/2018. Max is a sweet boy with a lot of love to give. This petite pup weighs just 12 pounds, but what he lacks in size he more than makes up for in charm and confidence.

Max came into our care after being rescued from a breeder-turned-hoarder situation. You’d never guess his past was difficult because this little guy greets everyone he meets like an old friend! He loves being outside chasing lizards, going for walks, and soaking up the sunshine. When it’s time to relax, you’ll find him curled up in his cozy bed or snuggled on the couch with a favorite toy.

Max gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He may give a friendly bark or two on walks, just to announce that he’s ready to make new friends.

His ideal home would be with a calm household, home often, with another small furry friend to keep Max company. A fenced yard isn’t required since Max loves to galavant on the sidewalks. He’s also made impressive progress with house training, with consistency and a regular schedule, he’s become a perfect little gentleman!

Max is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has had a recent dental. His most recent exam showed no heart murmur, and he’s ready for his happily ever after.
