Mojo in Dallas, TX

Meet Mojo: a playful and sweet special needs Cavalier Pug mix looking for his loving forever home! The vet estimates him to be about 10-years-old.

Mojo was found on the streets and made his way to the pound and ultimately rescue saved his life. Not much is known about Mojo before he came to us, but he is a happy, sweet, cuddly little guy and its obvious he was a loved pet at some point. He loves going for car rides! He loves to play with stuffies. When he wants attention, he has a sassy little bark to let you know he wants cuddles (or food).

Mojo has been vetted and is neutered, up to date on all vaccines. Mojo has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis and degenerative disc disease affecting his hind legs and bowel movement activity. He is currently on meds for pain (about $10 per month) and with the right care and activity, he can have a long life with lots of life in his years!

When he first stands up from a nap, he is a little wobbly until his legs wake up. Once he gets going though, he can run with the best of them! He loves to frolic in the yard, go for short walks, or just nap in the sun.

Because Mojo has degenerative disc disease, he doesn’t always feel the need to bear down and go potty. Unfortunately this makes his stool stay inside longer than normal and when he is asleep and relaxed, it will just come out. The good news is its an easy clean up, formed kind. He does not mind wearing doggy diapers and looks quite cute in them!

Mojo gets along great with other dogs. He has a very mellow, submissive personality and is a total sweetheart. Mojo’s greatest desire is to be someone’s special buddy. He follows his foster mom from room to room, and even sits on the bath mat while she is showering to protectively keep an eye on her.
