Molly in Sidney, IL

ADOPTION PENDING!

Good Golly! Miss Molly is looking for her forever home and family.

Her foster family says she is a sweetheart and wants to be petted and loved as much as possible.

Right now, Molly resides with three other Cavaliers, a cat, two adults and one 11-year-old boy. She is great with everyone in the home and everyone she meets.

Molly is a cutie-patootie and super friendly. She can be a little skittish about loud noises and fast movements, but she has come a long way since leaving the commercial breeding facility.

Molly is house trained; she has been excellent with that in her foster home. She’s only had a couple of accidents in the house. She is also crate trained with only one accident in her crate. Molly has shown she likes to chew on socks, pillowcases, gloves, and stuffed toys when she gets too bored, so her forever family will need to keep an eye on her.

Molly loves to run around in the fenced yard. She isn’t great on a leash yet, but she seems to be a quick learner, and would love to go on walks someday to burn off some of that young energy.

Molly’s birthdate is unknown, but the commercial breeder who gave her to Cavalier Rescue USA said she is 3-4-years-old, and our vet agrees. Since coming to Cavalier Rescue USA, Miss Molly has been brought up to date on her shots, has been microchipped, spayed, had a full dental, and is on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.

Unfortunately, Molly lost eight teeth during her dental, but that doesn’t stop her from eating her meals or treats. She is a healthy girl. The vet didn’t detect a heart murmur or luxating patellas, which is amazing.

The ideal home for Molly would have a securely physically fenced in yard and someone home part of the day. Currently Molly’s foster family works full-time, and Molly is in her crate during the day with a pet sitter coming in and letting all the household pups potty and play for an hour.

Someone who has the time and patience to teach Molly to walk on a leash and enjoy walks in the park or around town would be ideal. Molly is a very special girl learning to be the pup she was meant to be, and will make a great addition to the right family. If you can provide Molly’s forever home, please submit an adoption application if you haven’t already.
