Nonnie in Beaverton, OR
Here is the pup with his new family…
Meet Nonnie, the sweet senior gentleman with a heart full of love to share! This charming 10 year old Cavalier came into rescue from a shelter and has been a model guest in his foster home. Nonnie is the perfect companion for cozy evenings on the couch, where he’ll happily curl up next to you for a movie or a good book. Quiet by nature, Nonnie rarely barks but is always close by, ready for some affection once he’s warmed up to you.
Nonnie adores being outdoors, whether it’s for a little sunbathing or a gentle stroll around the yard. He’s even made fast friends with his playful puppy foster brother! With excellent house training and a love for car rides, he’s ready to explore the world with you by his side. At mealtime, Nonnie’s enthusiasm shines; he’s a true foodie who savors every bite!
This well-behaved boy has a calm temperament that makes him a joy to have around. Though Nonnie has a slight hearing loss and a unique gait due to his deformed left hind leg, he doesn’t let it slow him down. He’ll need a helping hand to get onto the couch or bed, but he’ll be thrilled to snuggle up once he’s there!
Nonnie’s ideal forever home would be a calm, carpeted space with minimal stairs, a fenced yard, and a family ready to spoil him with love. He’d be a wonderful companion for someone who’s home often, with older kids (10+) or another small dog to keep him company. Nonnie has a high prey drive, so he’d prefer a cat-free and small-animal-free household.
