Oleander in Nashville, TN

Meet Oleander, a sweet 5-month-old female blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy. This charming puppy weights 9.6 pounds and is a bundle of love!

Oleander has typical bursts of fun puppy energy but overall is fairly calm! She loves nothing more than to be held, cuddled, and nap in your lap. She likes a little play time during the day and is learning the joy of toys. Playing ball is her favorite although she has not yet mastered the fine art of fetch. Being a puppy she does like to chew but will happily choose a toy when directed.

Oleander is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been microchipped. Her adopter will need to make sure she is spayed; she will come with a spay contract. A small umbilical hernia will also need to be repaired at the time of her spay surgery. She will also need a puppy booster in a couple of weeks.

Going outside is when Oleander’s puppy energy really shines! The zoomies kick in and for this reason, she would do best with a fenced yard. She has met lots of neighbors while on walks and has been great with meeting children although she has not yet had time to play with them. She has also met a couple of cats and did great.

Potty training is a work in progress but she does best when taken out frequently and consistently. Leash training is also going well, although, this little princess does not care to go out in the rain! Can you blame her? She is very calm on car rides and is fine when buckled into her booster seat.
