Paris in Albany, NY

All dogs need love. Some need more love than others. This little girl came to us through a relative who recognized that she showed signs of neglect. The initial vet exam confirmed that story. Her original name is Paris, but we’ve nicknamed her Little Girl. She is about 7-8 years old.

She came to us very quiet and reserved but she has gradually opened up and become very sweet and quickly became very attached to her foster mom. So far she has struggled trusting anyone else, but she is only just starting to show her true personality. She is getting stronger and healthier, likes her baths and loves treats, and walks well on a leash. Everyday she seems to get a little bit happier and now is starting to wag her tail in that happy Cavalier way! She will be very happy sharing the couch and cuddling with her new family.

Our “Little Girl” needs a quiet home with someone who is gentle and patient and experienced with dealing with some behavior issues. She’s tolerant of other animals, but not interested in playing yet.

When we first heard her name was Paris we thought, oh boy, a Prima Donna! But nothing could be farther from the truth. She’s a sweet girl who deserves a chance to have a great life. And we know the only way to get there is with lots and lots of love.
