Punkin and Dunkin in Wakeman, OH
This precious bonded pair came to Cavalier Rescue USA when a Good Samaritan found them and called the Cavalier Rescue USA.
PUNKIN:
I am approximately a 5 year old Blenheim Cavalier. Foster mom says I am very sweet and cuddly. I like to give kisses and stay right beside you in the house. I enjoy chewing on hard bones and will play with some toys.
I am house trained however; I do not know how to ask to go outside. Foster Mom is home almost all the time and she takes us out frequently. I like dining in my crate where I chew every bite of my kibble slowly. I weigh 12 pounds.
At night I curl up with Dunkin in our crate. We like being close together. Foster Mom takes us out for walks and I love to go. I want to chase everything that moves, leaves blowing around, birds flying, butterflies, grasshoppers. If it moves I’ll go after it.
DUNKIN:
I am a tricolor Cavalier. My age is approximately 4 years and weigh 13 pounds. I am a ball of energy! I do lots of exploring in the house. My foster brother and sister have a squawking ball that I’m just crazy about; I do not want to take a break when we have that out to play with. WOW! It is so much fun!!! I chase it and knock it around with my feet and nose all while barking at it! I also like to chew on hard tasty bones.
I like sitting on Foster Mom’s lap or snuggling very close to her. When we go for walks I am interested in everything. I start smelling all the wonderful smells and I wander all about. I am totally into birds and if I could fly I would catch them. I am doing well with my house training however; I do not know how to ask to go outside.
Foster Mom here. Punkin and Dunkin are such a delightful energetic pair of Cavaliers. They will need a securely fenced in yard. They like to take their time outside to do their business. They are house trained however; they do not know how to ask to go outside for potty breaks. This is not a problem if someone can be home most of the time with them. Both are little explorers sniffing everything and giving chase if something moves. Sometimes things can scare them and they need to feel safe and secure. We were recently at the vet and both are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and had a dental done. Both are in good health. They enjoy car rides and do very well in the car. Punkin and Dunkin like to cuddle up with you and give you lots of kisses. Dunkin gobbles his food and will eat Punkin’s food if they are not separated when it is time to eat. Typically they are very quiet in the house and only bark when necessary. They get along very well with the cat.
If you are interested in this pair, please fill out the online application if you haven’t already and then get in touch with Sherry Morgan morgans817@sbcglobal.net so she knows to review your application. Thank you!
