Sally in Little Rock, AR

Please meet Sally, a beautiful Blenheim who will melt your heart with her adorable freckles and big brown eyes.  Sally, (think Peanuts character in The Great Pumpkin) was actually born on Halloween, 10/31/2021! So, she is ready for a new forever family to spoil her with lots of love and treats for her birthday.  

Sally came into Rescue as a very timid and shy girl who spent her first young years as a breeding mama. Most likely, Sally didn’t get much attention or love from humans and needed to learn how to trust and accept affection from her foster family.

Being a true Cavalier, Sally has blossomed into her true sweet self who wants to be with her foster mom where ever she is. Her favorite place is cuddled up under her foster mom’s desk on her blanket while she’s working. Otherwise, Sally is following her foster sibling everywhere he goes. Sally loves other dogs which helps with house training since she goes outside when they do. She is not used to going potty outside but is very food driven so her foster mom feeds her meals outdoors on the grass.

Every day Sally continues to be more trusting and affectionate. Her foster mom says she’s a precious true Cavalier that will feel more confident and happy being in a loving, caring home where someone is around most of the day. Sally sleeps in her crate where she never has accidents. Sometimes she jumps on the big bed and would probably love to cuddle with her family once she is fully house trained. She is learning new commands and understands the word, “No”!  Sally just wants to please and is a quick learner especially if treats are offered. Keep her away from trash cans, though, Sally is  a little trash picker.  

Recently, Sally has started to play with toys and will jump on the couch taking her plush toy and placing it right next to her. Is this her Mommy instinct or is she learning how to play and have fun? Only time will tell but Sally is truly a sweetheart who will be so grateful to anyone who is willing to spend time loving on her, helping her with house training and how to walk on a leash. She is a willing and precious girl who just wants love and to be loved and maybe a few treats too. Remember, Sally was born on Halloween! 

Sally has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, been given a dental and has a clean bill of health. She is healthy and ready for a forever family who wants a sweet loving companion (with the cutest freckles), to fill their home with joy and adorableness!
