Schnitzel and Rivkah in Indianapolis, IN

I’m happy to introduce you to Rivkah and Schnitzel, who are two beautiful bonded Cavaliers! Both are so sweet and loving and want to be near you most of the time. It’s easy to quickly fall in love with both of them and yet they are so different.

Rivkah is a 7-year-old, 18- pound, tricolor female, born 11/16/2016. She is quiet and reserved (except at feeding time). Her favorite pass times include snuggling with Schnitzel, her foster siblings or me. Although she wasn’t leash trained, she’s getting a little better, but we’re still working on it. Oh! And by the way, hang on tight if she sees a squirrel!

She goes into her crate easily at bedtime and remains quiet until letting her out in the morning. She doesn’t signal by going to the door, so is let out 5-6 times per day. Both pups are now complete potty trained and are doing great going into their crate for bedtime. Just a little treat and in they go for the night.

Schnitzel is a 4-year-old male Ruby Cavalier born 3/30/19 that weighs 28 pounds. He’s large compared to other Cavaliers, but is not overweight. This big boy is all muscle! He is a joy to have around even though he can be just a little bit naughty; it’s just enough to be fun. He’ll steal a few socks, stand on a side table or nibble on something he shouldn’t. He understands “no” and will quickly relinquish whatever it is. He likes to get toys out of the toy basket to chew on and soon thereafter becomes disinterested.

He’d be great for an active person or family. Being so young and a big, strong boy, he’d love a good run or a hike. Schnitzel can also be a couch potato and loves snuggling. He doesn’t like going into his crate at night and needs to be forced in. He loudly bangs around for a few minutes and then sleeps quietly through the night. Like his favorite friend, Schnitzel has not been leash trained, but is getting better daily.

You couldn’t ask for a better best of both worlds! Even though their personalities are very different, they want to be together constantly. Where one goes, the other is quickly behind and becomes upset if you try to take one outside without the other.
