Sophie in Nashville, TN

JUST ADOPTED!

Here is Sophie with her new family…

Sophie is a darling ten-month-old Cavalier who has already shown incredible resilience and sweetness despite a difficult beginning in life.

Born on December 24, 2024, Sophie spent her early months deeply loved. Due to unforeseen life circumstances, her previous owner was no longer able to care for her after entering rehabilitation. With a heavy heart, he chose to surrender Sophie so she could have the stability and care she deserves.

Today, Sophie is flourishing. She is learning what it means to feel safe, cherished and part of a family. Every day brings new confidence and joy as she experiences playtime, cuddles, gentle leadership, and companionship.

Sophie is affectionate, outgoing, eager to please, and absolutely loves meeting new people. Every human she meets instantly becomes her new best friend.

She has not yet been tested with children or cats.

Sophie is doing very well with house training when kept on a consistent schedule. She especially needs to go out immediately after waking up from sleep or crate time.

She’s a smart girl, learning quickly, and will benefit from continued guidance as she settles into her forever home.

Sophie sleeps soundly through the night and happily goes into her crate at bedtime (she knows a treat awaits!) She’s also content spending short periods alone in her crate when needed.

Sophie enjoys walks, rides beautifully in the car and has the sweetest zest for adventure.

Her recent vet visit resulted in a clean bill of health. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Sophie will thrive with a family who can offer patience, consistency, and lots of love as she continues to grow and learn.

Sophie’s ideal home includes a canine companion to help show her the “puppy ropes,” a fenced yard and a human who is home most of the time.
