Theo in Alexandria, VA

Theo is a charming 5, almost 6-year-old, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel born 04/24/2020. This handsome boy has a gentle heart and a mountain of love to give. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. While his overall health is good, he did see our vet cardiologist who diagnosed a grade 3 heart murmur, but stated no medications are needed at this time. Theo is now ready to find a forever family that will cherish his devotion to his people.

A true people-pleaser, Theo radiates warmth toward everyone he meets. Whether it’s adults, children, or other dogs, he simply wants to be part of the group. While he hasn’t had the chance to meet any cats yet, his affectionate and loyal temperament suggests he is happiest whenever he is right by your side.

Don’t let his age fool you, Theo has a spirited, playful side! His absolute favorite thing in the world is his plush lamb squeeze toy. He will happily play fetch for as long as you are willing to toss it. Because he is eager to please, he responds wonderfully to treats and praise, making him a joy to train and a seamless addition to any home. Theo enjoys short walks and the companionship of his foster sister. 

The best new home for Theo will be a calm one without small children that has a fenced yard, someone home most of the time, and another small dog as a buddy.
