Mikey in Rural Retreat, VA

Mikey is a beautiful, sweet, easy going 6-year-old Blenheim boy with an upcoming birthday on May 21^st. Mikey loves to be loved on, snuggled with, loves his adventures outside and loves to sniff in the backyard. When he sees his harness coming out his tail starts wagging and he’s ready to go walk.

He is well behaved with the sweetest teddy bear face. He gets along with everyone he meets, even the cats in his foster home. Mikey loves car rides and riding in his golf cart. As much as he likes being outside he also enjoys relaxing in the big bed with all the covers and pillows at night.

Mikey is a bigger Cavalier at 42lbs. His previous owners went into assisted living so a wonderful family member contacted our rescue. He had already lost quite a bit of weight after being with a family member. We currently are making sure he doesn’t overeat as he is doing so well.

Mikey has been neutered and had his cherry eye fixed. He is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He has a grade 2 heart murmur but no medication is needed. He is potty trained but does have the desire to mark. Now that he is neutered, we expect this behavior will diminish as time passes.

Mikey is so easy to love and we have enjoyed having him here with us. He loves companionship and would make a great addition to a loving family.
