Cassia in Cotati, CA

This beautiful Black and Tan girl is Cassia. She was released to Cavalier Rescue USA when her owner couldn’t care for her any longer.

Cassia is super sweet and loves attention. She is eight years old, born July 25, 2016. Cassia is an overall healthy girl with no heart murmur. She weighs 22 pounds.

Cassia had a urinary tract infection (UTI) when she first came into rescue. She has a history bladder stones, so the vet recommends feeding her Hill’s Science Diet c/d or Royal Canin Urinary SO. Cassia will need monitoring for symptoms of UTIs.

Cassia is missing some teeth, but her remaining teeth are nice and clean.

Cassia is good with other dogs and comfortable with everyone. She had a couple of accidents at first adjusting to her transition, but she is house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside.

Cassia is crate-trained and sleeps quietly in her crate.

She plays with other dogs and humans, but also loves to nap on the sofa. Cassia watches TV, and is talkative when animals come on!

Cassia loves walks and is good on a leash. She used to live with a cat and got along with it. Cassia needs a home with low alone hours, a fenced yard and an active family. This beautiful girl is ready for her new home.

If you think you would be a great fit for Cassia, and live within a reasonable driving distance from her foster home, please email our Northern California Coordinator, Sarah Knudsen at sayrahk@gmail.com. Please also submit our online application if you have not already done so.
