Ashley in Dallas, TX

Ashley is a beautiful Blenheim girl with a gentle soul. She is 7-year- old (born 4/4/18). This precious pup came to rescue due to her owner’s health issues. She is such a sweet and kind little girl, and she is ready to have a forever family to whom she can give all of her love.

She is such a good girl. She loves to go out for a nice leisurely walk and come home and relax right by your side. She is a love bug!

Ashley came to rescue with diabetes that was not well managed. Her ALP was very high, but we added a prescription called Ursodiol and it has come down so nicely. She will need to continue to be on the Ursodiol. We are very pleased that her diabetes is now very well managed with insulin twice a day and a prescription food. She lays down and is very easy to give her insulin shot.

She also had a dental and her palette was shortened at the same time because her breathing was quite loud. You can tell she is feeling so much better. She does have cataracts, but the vet does not think she is a good surgical candidate. She sees and gets around very well.  She has dry eyes and gets drops for that. She is up to date on her core vaccines and is on a monthly heartworm preventative. 

Ashley is house trained and is a well behaved, gentle, loving pup. She gets along well with other well mannered dogs and has never met a stranger. She is also very good in the car.  

Ashley is a very special girl who has so much love to give. In return she needs a home devoted to managing the care of her diabetes as well as her drops for her dry eyes.
