Charlie Brown in Little Rock, AR
Introducing Charlie Brown, just like the lovable Peanuts character, this little 6 month old Blenheim born 12/02/2024 is as sweet as they come. Since being born into rescue, Charlie Brown has won the hearts of all who have cared for him as he is the most affectionate and happy go lucky puppy ever.
Charlie Brown is an adorable little guy weighing only 8 pounds but has boundless puppy energy and loves to play with his foster poodle sibling or fetch a ball. His other favorite thing is to cuddle with you on the couch especially when it’s time to watch TV or read. He’s also a snuggler with his foster siblings in their dog bed. Charlie Brown is a true “love bug” who loves everyone, other dogs, kids and even gets along with cats.
He’s just the sweetest Cavalier puppy and hardly ever gets in trouble, but, being a typical puppy he has chewed on a few shoes and digs in the yard sometimes. Charlie Brown will need his new family to continue with his puppy training including house training. He hasn’t had many accidents and goes outside with the other dogs but doesn’t “ask” to go outside to do his business. Charlie Brown goes in his crate when left alone (for short periods of time), but he doesn’t sleep in his crate at night since he loves to sleep in the bed with his foster family.
Charlie Brown is used to a nice big fenced in backyard where he’s got tons of energy to run, chase balls and wrestle with his foster family dogs. His ideal forever home should have a fenced in yard and maybe another small young dog or two. Charlie Brown would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day to give him the attention and cuddles he deserves. He would be a sweet and playful companion for loving, gentle children as he’s wonderful with his foster family’s young grandchildren.
Charlie Brown hasn’t been walked on a leash much but is fine with his harness and likes to ride in a car. His health is good overall and has been fully vetted with all his required puppy shots and is microchipped. His new family will need to have him neutered when he’s 9 or 10 months old and send in the certificate to rescue. When it comes to food, Charlie Brown is such a happy busy puppy, that he eats bits at a time rather than gobbling it all down at once. His forever family will need to make sure he has a quiet place to eat all his food so that he continues to gain weight.
If you are looking an affectionate, adorable little freckle face Cavalier puppy, Charlie Brown will be the perfect addition to your family. All that’s required is lots of love, patience, care and help training this sweet boy and he will give much more in return.
