Izzy in Castro Valley, CA

This sweet Blenheim boy is Izzy. He’s 2.5 born 12/2/22, healthy, neutered, up to date on his shots and ready to find his forever home.

Izzy was given to rescue by his previous owners because he barked while they were away from home. They live in a condo and confined him to a crate while they were away, had many complaints from their neighbors but are unable to move. In his foster home Izzy is not confined in a crate while they are away. They are retired and home most of the time, plus, there’s a dog door and he can go where he wants = NO barking! Izzy sleeps quietly in his crate thats next to the foster’s bed but he would love to join you in the big bed.

Izzy gets along with his foster siblings but seems a bit unsure of himself at first with people and is cautious. He’s loves toys and walks and is good on a leash.

Izzy is housetrained and just needs to be taken out every few hours. He’s had a few accidents in his foster home but they are fewer as the days go by. Once he’s settled in he’s reliable.

Izzy needs a home where he’s not alone very much, ideally a retired family or someone who works from home. He needs walks every day and a fenced yard. He will be happy getting all the attention as an only dog or can be part of a pack. He has not been cat tested.
