Arrow in Tucson, AZ

Arrow is a handsome, happy, 11-year-old tricolor Cavalier. He came to rescue due to his owner having some physical challenges making a move across the country to be near family necessary, and sadly not being able to take this sweet boy with her. 

It was evident upon arriving to rescue that Arrow was very much loved and well taken care of by his prior owner. He has a great temperament, is very calm and happy, and enjoys naps, and also loves walks and lots of love and attention. He has a great appetite (as most Cavaliers do!) and is at a good weight at 24 lbs, although he looks more petite.

This pup will be best in a home where the family is home a majority of the time as this is what he was accustomed to. Arrow was used to sleeping in bed with his previous owner, so if that is an option, that is a huge plus as he is very cuddly! He also enjoys daily walks and is happy to wear his harness for that. He is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. 

Arrow previously lived happily with another dog, but it is not necessary to have another dog in your home so long as he gets lots of love and attention from you. 

He does have a grade 4 heart murmur for which he takes Vetmedin and a supplement and also has seasonal allergies with a present cough. The coughing is minimal though; maybe a handful of times per day. Hearing, eyesight, and mobility all appear great! 

Arrow is eager to go where his humans are going! He may be fairly timid upon arrival somewhere new, but settles in quickly. He will bark a bit when people come to the door, but settles down nicely. A few blankets, treats, and some love and he is good to go. He wags his tail a ton when people approach and is very happy to be around them. He also does well in car rides and enjoys traveling, so his placement will not be restricted to Arizona.

Arrow would do best in a home where he is not alone very often, has a fenced in yard, and has someone to provide love and cuddles for his senior years!
