Ella in Grand Junction, CO

Ella is a love bug! This five-year-old Blenheim girl was kindly surrendered because she was spending much of her time alone. It broke her owner’s heart to check her home webcam and see Ella waiting patiently at the door all day for the owner to return when away at her job.

Ella’s early years were spent producing puppies for a commercial breeder. Her previous owner was able to provide a much improved life. Ella would prefer a home where she can be near her people as much as possible She is easy going with people and does well with cats. Ella prefers to be the only dog and not have to share your attention with any other pesky pups. On walks she listens and wants to please, but can get distracted by wildlife. She has her own car seat and loves using it, but her devoted focus will most likely be on you.

A secure home and gated yard would be the best situation for this inquisitive girl. She would love to have her person home much of the time and spend very little time alone.

Ella is fairly healthy. She has a mild grade 2 heart murmur but is not on heart medication. She is up to date on vaccinations and is microchipped. She had a dental while in foster care which resulted in five extractions. She was snoring at night, but allergy medication has stopped the snoring.

Ella is a foodie at 25lbs. She should lose a few pounds and is on a new diet plan. She is so excited with any food she jumps in the air and spins. She has a fondness for fresh veggies as treats.

Ella can be quite silly and can be found enjoying life on her back – looking at her feet in the air. She will bring joy to a lucky person’s life.
